We take great pleasure in inviting all our CMC College of Nursing graduates in the US and Canada to attend the Inaugural Nursing Scientific Session to be held at the CMC Alumni reunion in Washington DC on Friday June 28,2019. It is a time to re- connect with old friends and meet new ones. Our goal is to update you on our Alma Mater, the CMC CON and showcase the growth and wonderful achievements of our beloved institution.
We also hope that you will take a trip down memory lane and recall all the fun, friendship, and yes, even the tough times of our college days. An inspiring Continuing Education program has been planned where you will have the opportunity to hear some of our graduates share their knowledge and expertise with us. We will have the chance of meeting our CMC medical colleagues and enjoying a fun evening of dinner and entertainment later.
Please make every effort to attend and also persuade your friends and colleagues from CON to do so as well. We are hoping for a good turnout and the first of many future gatherings together.”

Thank You

I consider it an enormous privilege and an honour to felicitate our Nursing alumni around the world both as an alumna myself and as the Dean of the College of Nursing.
From its humble beginnings in 1909, the College of Nursing has been a beacon of light to generations of nurses for over a century. The experiences we have and the friendships we develop over those four years are very special and contribute to the success of alumni spread all around the world working in diverse environments within clinical practice, academia, management and research.
The decision of the CMC Vellore North American Alumni Association to include all alumni of CMC Vellore is a step in the right direction.
I wish to congratulate the alumni and the organizers of the GOTC/CON Alumni Reunion and would like to recognize the contribution of Dr. Margaret Kamalini Kumar toward making this event a reality. Wish you all a fruitful, fun-filled and memorable experience at this first of many such future gatherings.
With best wishes,
Selva Titus Chacko
Dean, College of Nursing
